A great day with my Little Guy

Today was not looking so good early on-I had a massive headache this morning and couldn't bear the thought of completing my chores or my errands... it was difficult just to be there for my boy.  I was able to convince him to take an early nap and I got some rest at the same time.  By the time he was up, I was restored; and then we had all this wonderful daylight ahead of us that we don't normally get!  So after a quick lunch, we were off to the park to feed ducks, then the library to pick up new books, a viewing of a new DVD gave me the time to do those dreaded chores and errands, and then we wrapped up the evening with a wonderful cuddle watching Sesame Street Sleepytime Songs & Stories.  I adore those times when he chooses to be on my lap and he just lets me love him; I pray for those moments to stretch as long as they can, and am thankful to the Lord for blessing me with those times.

The Valentine Story

The cover of a little booklet my Dear Husband made.

First I got to sleep in,

Then when I woke up...

Time to go downstairs...
where he made me breakfast...
then we got our coats on...
went for a drive in the van...
headed South...
to one of my very FAVORITE places to shop!!!
Plus a gift card to spend on myself-woo hoo!!!
...and lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant (in Salem, OR).
And whatever else his Valentine wanted....
Hubba Hubba!
I love him!!

I was tagged.

Christmas 2005, this is Murray our 12 year old puppy; we got him as a gift on our first wedding anniversary (traditionally this is a gift of paper-believe me, paper was involved!)  We used to tie this toy around his neck like a scarf and watch him go a little crazy trying to shake it off.  These are great for dogs who like to tug, very durable, we found it at Saturday market in Portland for $3.  It did meet it's destruction when our friends puppy Mojo came to visit-it did not withstand puppy teeth!  My BFF made a brand new one for Murray afterwards which I adored-she is such a wonderful person!
